I use seasonal fruit including strawberries, apples and even Asian pears from my own backyard to make my all natural fruit roll-ups. To make my roll-ups, I mash the fruit using an immersion mixer. The apples require cooking first to soften them. If needed, I add a little honey and then pour the mixture onto silicone mats. After four hours in the dehydrator, the sheets of fruit can now be cut and rolled in parchment paper. $2 per roll-up.
